At C&K Trucking, we understand the importance of our service for our customers. We help get products into the hands of consumers. From a broader perspective, we also understand that transportation is a critical component of any state’s economy. Any time we get a chance to communicate the integral role transportation has within the economy, we are eager to take part. This was the case with a recent meeting with Key Legislators from Illinois. Mike Burton, C&K President had the opportunity to join with the Illinois Trucking Association’s Call on Springfield. During this productive meeting, Mike discussed key issues including excessive licensing fees, unfair towing and tolling. Additionally, Mike heard directly from top leaders including Governor Quinn and Candidate for Governor, Bruce Rauner.

The Illinois Trucking Association is a non-profit trade association led by trucking companies to promote and protect the interests of the trucking industry in Illinois.
